Didn't have the chance to play the original on the NES. The game wasn't popular in my country, well guess it's not popular nowadays either. I've seen the playing stats of it compares to the like of Cuphead (I guess it's kinda unfair since this game is more equivalence to Castle Crashers but whatever). I'll look for the combo and respawn if the game get more popular than currently.
Although I must say that the gameplay is pretty solid, but it seems the interests are already shifted elsewhere.
