GuidedHacking Review

If you want to learn game hacking, there is no better place to learn than GuidedHacking - and I’m not just saying that. I have a lot of respect for GH, not only for publishing 500 free tutorials on Guided Hacking Youtube Channel but also for the high quality courses that you literally cannot find anywhere else. Before Guided Hacking there were NO high quality resources available - but that’s all changed now thanks to GH.

As a long time cheat creator myself I have learned a lot from GuidedHacking and I really value that focus on education. And it’s not just me saying that, one of the most influential Cheat Engine Youtubers, Stephen Chapman recently joined Guided Hacking and started publishing his content with GH. It just goes to show how serious they are about making quality game hacking content.

Their free Youtube videos continue to amaze me, when others are putting out really beginner content Guided Hacking is frequently publishing unique content you won’t find anywhere else, including what some might consider "trade secrets". It's crazy that they shared those for free all these years. You’ll hear some immature people say that GH is greedy, but there is nothing predatory about them, GuidedHacking is cool - they make free Youtube videos and if you like it you can buy a subscription on their website to get more.

GuidedHacking Values Content Creators

Stephen Chapman joined them but his valuable videos are still free on his Youtube. They could've made those videos private, replaced them with courses on the site or locked him into a contract. But they didn't. Nowadays companies will squeeze you dry, but not GuidedHacking. I think the key difference is that GH really values content creators and wants the focus to be on them. And it's backed up by facts too, I’m not just saying that.

Let me tell you about my story meeting Rake, the owner of GuidedHacking and working together with him. And yes I know how this sounds, we have a business relationship so my opinion is skewed right? Not really, I wouldn’t do business with or promote someone I didn’t like and want to support. It’ll all make sense when I tell you about my interactions with him.

A few years after Rake started developing the Game Hacking Bible, he realized how hard content creation is and how hard it is to monetize content - he had been struggling with the same issues. Most cheat forums are popular because the top 10 content creators are driving the growth with high quality content - but they don’t make any money. Rake identified this and wanted to solve it by providing a platform that supports content creators like him.

At the time he reached out to a number of us cheat table creators, including me. At that time I was still being burdened with financial problems, working my day job along with the side hobby of making Cheat Engine Tables for free. It was very stressful, I was barely getting enough donations to justify all my hard work for the game hacking community and to be honest it was dragging me down.

But here comes Rake to the rescue, he reached out and asked if he could pay me to post my Cheat Tables on his website. I was very skeptical as it was the first time I got contacted for that, I didn't know how to negotiate with him. But guess what, Rake shared all the details with me, he explained what kind of deals he had made with other creators and he was very honest and up front about everything.

Why I Trust and Respect Rake

I’m sure you’ve heard about people like me getting scammed with stuff like this, but with Guided Hacking it was different. So many times I’ve heard people get contracted to make cheat tables, and they do all the work and never get paid. But everything was different with Rake, he wanted to make sure the deal was good for ME and him. He didn’t lowball me or try to lock me into a contract.

He simply offered to pay me generously for each cheat table posted on GH. At that time I got more than 1,000 game titles available so we settled with 5 games per week. The deal was worth several times more than my monthly Patreon back then. No re-branding needed, no removing my posts on The Cheat Script. All I have to do was posting the latest working Cheat Tables for games on GH, he trusted the quality of my work. It was a very pleasant collaboration.

This is why I trust Rake a lot, he never tried to exploit me or any of the other cheat table guys - a few of us have worked for GH over the years and all have reported good interactions, fair pricing and no missed payments. But Rake didn’t just want my cheat tables, he wanted to help me grow and monetize my website too. He taught me how he runs his business and how he handled things, he was always trying to help me grow. And that’s why I wanted to write this GuidedHacking review, he is a genuine guy that really cares about content creators.

Guided Hacking vs. Other Game Hacking Forums

I know other sites that share hacking resources but honestly I've never found anything useful for my own work, like UnknownCheats or FearlessRevolution - I’m sure other people like them but I personally had no use for them. They’ll show off stuff that looks really cool but it’s shallow, in the end they’re just in it for their own ego, there isn’t real education, community or honor there.

Those other forums are like taking a hit of crack, they get you excited for really cool hacks - but you find it lacking in the end. GuidedHacking in comparison, gives you a fishing rod, a training manual and Rake is there cracking the whip behind you! I know that might sound extreme, but Rake is trying to teach us computer guys about discipline and doing things for yourself.

You won’t just find hacking tutorials on GH, you will find real life advice and mentoring

Guided Hacking isn’t just a game hacking website, they are really trying to help you evolve as a person and be the best version of yourself. Rake has always pushed me to be the best that I can be and I really appreciate that type of person.

What is the future of Guided Hacking?

It’s been 14 years since Guided Hacking began and they are bigger and better than ever, they are still publishing new content every week. I really admire their commitment. With 500+ game hacking videos and 1,000+ text tutorials GuidedHacking continues to grow and evolve. There is always something new to learn at GH, even if you only watch their free YouTube channel you will always find compelling and fun new content every week.

It’s really crazy how things have changed over the years. GuidedHacking is planning to release an Anti-Cheat Development Course soon. Game hacking used to be a dumb thing for nerds to do, now you can turn game hacking into a lucrative career, and as always GH is leading the way. Guided Hacking’s reverse engineering content is a gateway to a career in cybersecurity, many professionals in these fields started with guess what... game hacking!

Is Guided Hacking Worth it?

So you’ve read my review of Guided Hacking, but maybe you’re still on the fence. Well, you’ve got to make your opinion, but don’t base it on what someone else has told you. Find out for yourself. Some reverse engineering courses can cost upwards of $6,000, yet GuidedHacking provides access to all their courses for a mere $75 for 6 months - it’s a really good deal.

You can certainly learn a lot in 6 months if you're serious and committed so I’d say GH is definitely worth it. It would take you 4-5 years to learn everything that is included on their website. You won’t find a better structured course for learning game hacking anywhere else. Don’t believe me? Buy a subscription and find out. You will not regret it.
