I really like this game, the graphics, the music it's a kind of stuff I'd want to make if I was to develop a game. But I can see why it's getting mixed reviews. There's a lot of bad, annoying mechanics that a city builder could get and this game has them.
Huge number of resources made the game feel kind of unreal, it's like those webgames that you build and level up building constantly for resources. Though it's not really a bad thing but it surely breaks immersion. The idea of researching for new buildings isn't new but this game level that up by locking away such basic road through research. I was like WTF? Also why the hell every city building interaction you must un-pause the game? And it took me a while to realize there's the mass upgrade mode.
I really like perpetual city builder that has graphics like this game, it's pleasing to look at. I really want to make more cheats for this game also but the game coding is like GameMaker, it hinders a lot of what's possible to make. It's damn terrible to work with, I actually dropped this game at first when I saw the coding. What a waste.
